A graduate of the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Film & Television and a minor in Creative Writing, Elijah spent his college years mentoring emerging filmmakers as a teaching assistant for video production courses and working in the university’s equipment room, gaining hands-on experience with cameras, lighting systems, sound gear, and support equipment. Before becoming a full-time professional, he earned multiple awards in promotional video competitions, including regional and state titles through SkillsUSA and Business Professionals of America. His first-place BPA state victory advanced him to a national conference and competition in Anaheim, where he represented his division among the top student creators in the country.
